Album embossing follows a process of applying a coloured foil with heat and pressure to a product such as a scrapbook or photo album cover. This is the same basic process that scrapbook manufacturers use to emboss bordered edges onto their album covers.
We can emboss most albums including tightly woven fabric albums, leather, and leatherette types. Some standard brands of scrapbook albums include Creative Memoriesİ, Mrs. Grossman'sİ, Making Memoriesİ, and Westrimİ.
Please note that the embossing process is done by hand and slight imperfections due to fabric weave and texture is normal and not considered to be a defect.
Albums that are very textured (such as tapestry or travel), constructed with corrugated cardboard innards (Pioneerİ and others), and thickly padded albums (StampinUpİ) cannot be embossed successfully. If you are unsure about your album, please contact us before sending it for embossing.
